Windows 7

Apparently in Japan you can get a “Windows 7 Whopper” in celebration of the release of Microsoft’s ‘new’ operating system. It’s about five inches tall and costs 777 Yen.

Given Microsoft’s previous history of OS releases, you’re probably better off trying the stuff the Whopper in your CD/DVD drive than loading the system disks. I’d like to believe that this one is different, but with Vista still making a mess of the computers I have to deal with on a dissappointingly regular basis, I have little to base any hope on.

Meanwhile, best of luck to those who can manage to down the whole Win7 Whopper. Maybe it would be better to do the reverse of the above and try to consume the system disks.
