The Endarkenment Marches On
Yes, I know that I have not been spewing out the normal amount of vitriol that I should be, especially at this particular moment in the history of America where we seem to be charging at an alarming rate towards the icebergs. It’ll be slower than usual for another week or so…no, I’m not building a bunker in some isolated part of the countryside, but perhaps it’s not such a bad idea.
Who would have thought that a small group of 500 or so people could trash a country so quickly? And what will the endgame bring, not so much for our so-called leaders or the conspiracy theorists (who are building bunkers), but for your average American who is simply trying to pay the bills and keep the lights on?
I only wish I had the answers. Trust me; I wouldn’t keep them to myself. The whole house of cards that this country seems to have become seems mighty wobbly right now and with Congress and the administration pounding on the table, it’s only a matter of time before the big tumble.
In my head, I was planning to do a recap of some of the more idiotic moves happening in Washington, but I heard something that just sent me into one of those blind rages. You know, the ones where all you can do is grit your teeth and hope you don’t have an aneurism before you can settle down.
It was Senator Burris, one of the many who has no business being in Congress, let alone walking freely after the whole bribery issue. Burris said that the new DeathCare legislation, “Would be the greatest legislation since FDR passed Social Security.”
Social Security? You mean the travesty of highway robbery whose annual costs will exceed revenues by 2016? You mean the Ponzi scheme that will be completely insolvent by 2037, if not earlier?
That, along with Medicare (which will be broke by 2018), Amtrak, the Postal Service and all of the other total catastrophes the government has forced us into is what is driving people into building said bunkers, hoard gold, guns and canned goods as well as push the majority of the populace into having what can only be described as a well-deserved distrust of the government.
It is starting to look as if DeathCare and Cap and Tax are some of the final nails in the coffin. Don’t be fooled by the pundits, those are both a done deal, one way or another. Probably the only thing for reasonable people to do now is to start planning for the tailspin and ultimately, when we get ourselves out of this, the rebuilding of America into what it once was.
We will fight with all we have against every single enemy of our country or Constitution, be they foreign or domestic.
