The Price Is Right

Is it legal for a politician to bribe another politician without getting into trouble?

You bet.

Especially with billions in taxpayer money.

The answer has been shown to us as the 60th Senate vote was purchased (using your money) by Mad King Harry. Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska is getting Bennies O’ Plenty and some weak verbiage limiting abortions. His deal was far less than Landrieu’s Louisiana Purchase, showing that he’s just not the negotiator that she is. The list goes on…Senator Bernie Sanders got $10 billion in pork for a bunch of health care centers, Senator Bill Nelson of Florida gets $5 billion…and it goes on and on.

These are nothing but bribes from people who are the scum of the earth given to other people who are worse than the scum of the earth. They seek to serve no one but themselves, forgetting their constituents and the Constitution they swore to serve.

I dare you to go to Washington with a big briefcase full of cash and toss it onto any one of your representative’s desks, tell them what you want to get passed and see what happens. I’m betting you get dragged out by the Capitol Police, but you never know…they could slide it under the desk and smile at you. It’s all the rage right now.

The really big question is: Can a government make an entire population change socially and economically by force?

You bet.

After this disaster of a bill goes through, you just try not to pay those taxes or fail to buy that shiny-new government-mandated insurance and see how fast those fines come down on you. Don’t pay the fines and see how fast you end up in the nearest medium-security federal prison.

Power comes at the end of a gun…and this legislation, along with the hundreds of thousands of pages that have been passed into law will continue to chew away at the Constitution and more relevantly your personal freedoms in ways you cannot even imagine.

DeathCare is such a disaster even the liberals don’t want it. It astounds me that these people in D.C. can still be dead-set on rushing it through when their own supporters think it’s a piece of crap. Are they that stupid or simply politically suicidal? Do they not understand that this is the proverbial turd in the punchbowl and they are walking around with glasses of punch laughing it up like a bunch of morons?

When a commercial aircraft is in trouble and is going in for a landing, the pilot comes on at the last moment and says, “Brace, brace, brace,” indicating that you should assume your crash position.

That’s what I’ll be thinking of when the Senate votes on this one.
